By utilizing space age programming, production and exotically tuned percussion Global Drum Project is one hypnotically tranced-out groove around the world and into its beating heart. With like minded beat masters Giovanni Hidalgo, Sikiru Adepoju, and Taufiq Qureshi laying the relentless rhythms one upon the other; sitarist Niladari Kumar and Dilshad Khan on sarangi droning and wailing; and the entire ensemble, featuring the above mentioned Olatunji, chanting and calling upon the elders, Global Drum Project is as captivating as it is textured.
